Adisseo and the Feed Industry Center of China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) signed a framework cooperation agreement at the Beijing Feed Museum in Beijing on Dec. 15. The agreement aims to further promote research and development (R&D) and innovation in animal nutrition and the feed industry.
The signing ceremony was attended by Li Defa, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the Feed Industry Center of the MARA, Tian Jianhui, vice president of China Agricultural University, Hao Zhigang, chairman and CEO of Adisseo, and Jean-Francois Rous, executive vice president for research and innovation at Adisseo.
According to the agreement, the cooperation between the two sides will primarily focus on basic research in the field of pig nutrition. They will conduct in-depth collaboration in areas such as low-protein diet technology and the development of a nutrition value system for feed raw materials.
The two sides will leverage their strengths in the industry and technological capabilities, promoting exchanges in talent and technology and strengthening the integration of production, learning, and research. The goal is to bridge gaps in fundamental research on animal nutrition, enhance the efficient utilization of grain resources in feed, and elevate the global influence of China's animal nutrition and feed technology. This partnership aims to make greater contribution to food security and sustainable development.
